Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Originally from Worthington Ohio she quit high school to move to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. The TV film Murder in Greenwich where she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the lead actress in Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all of the ensemble. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005.
